6. Safety Training

 

Done Under Installation Contract

 

In conjunction with all of our installations, before they are operated we require all of the staff to be trained in the proper use and safety practices for the course.   We provide professional trainings included with all of our Installation Contracts.  The required training includes staff training for:

  • Daily inspections of the course and safety equipment
  • Staff safety practices including rescues and emergency evacuations
  • Staff techniques for participant safety including training and coaching participants
  • Documents:

·      

o   Daily inspection logs

o   Participant liability waivers

o   Incident reports

o   Staff manual

 

We can also provide additional voluntary trainings in:

  1. Operations to help your staff efficiently operate the course from welcoming participants, effective time and space management on the course through traffic flow and logistics use. 
  2. Ecological training.  We will develop lesson plans for your guides to use and talk about as they guide participants through the course.  This may include unique features of the area, flora and fauna types and identification and historical information about the area. 

Cost: Included as part of the Installation Contract

 

Deliverables: Upon completion of the training we will provide certificates of completion to all of the staff trained as well as safety manuals tailored specifically to your course.
